If you're wondering whether Personal Training is worth the investment, youre actually asking the wrong question!

The question should be:

“Will it help me become the sort of person who actually sticks with fitness?”

Its probably not worth it if:

  • Youre already making progress as quickly as youd like

  • You really enjoy planning your own training & honestly know what youre doing

  • Youre progressing towards your goals

  • Youre happy doing your own research and learning

Save youre money, you dont need a personal trainer!

But personal training IS an investment worth making IF:

  • Youve ever caught yourself saying “Ill start next week”

  • “Works so busy”

  • “The kids come first”

  • “I used to be fit”

  • “I know what i should be doing BUT…”

then maybe the thing youd be investing in isnt the ‘training’ but the ‘personal’.

Youre investing in stopping that repeated cycle and those stories.

Who benefits most from Personal Training?

In my over a decade of experience, coaching is most valuable for people who:

  • Used to be active but have lost their routine

  • Are busy professionals trying to balance work, family & their own health

  • Want to get stronger, fitter and healthier but dont want fitness to take over their life

  • Feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice online

  • Need a plan they can actually stick to

Everyone knows exercise is good for them, but the problem is usually life getting in the way.

So good coaching helps you move forward even when life is crazy.

What makes a good Personal Trainer?

They should:

  • Give you flexibility and a programme you can fit around your life - not an ideal week

  • Help you train safely and effectively - not just push you to your limit every session

  • Give you confidence instead of making you feel intimidated

  • Adapt when work, holidays or inevitably life gets busy

  • Teach you enough that you become more capable and independent over time

So… Is Small Group Personal Training worth it?

Not if you want a glorified rep counter.

But if youre looking for someone to help you build strength, improve your health, gain confidence and make fitness fit around your lifestyle instead of taking over it…

It can be one of the best investments youll ever make.

Because another year will pass whether you make a change or not.

The question is whether youll spend it becoming fitter, stronger and healthier or still waiting for a good time to start.
